For deeper water disposal, we deploy working class ROV systems equipped with manipulation capability for charge emplacement.

ROV-supported operations extend our disposal capability beyond diver depth limits while maintaining rigorous safety protocols, providing essential capability for offshore wind developments, deep-water operations, and infrastructure projects beyond practical diving depths.

Proven Capability

• All of our offshore EOD Engineers are trained to advanced level. They are highly and appropriately experienced, having delivered bomb disposal solutions both in the military domain and the commercial market

• On top of this, all EOD Engineers are subjected to a quality-assured training and high-explosive operator licensing regime. Such a scheme not only provides an additional level of safety but also client and third-party reassurance

• We employ state-of-the-art high explosives and initiation systems, all of which are optimised for safety, including, subject to client requirements, the use of electrical and non-electrical high explosive initiation systems

• Our high-explosive transportation methodology, dock-side handover and on-board explosives storage systems are all appropriately licensed, and they have been verified as being the safest of their kind

• Our disposal systems interface with a variety of work-class ROV for safe and reliable charge emplacement

Environmental & Asset Protection

We manage all regulatory reporting and coordination with relevant national authorities, ensuring regulatory obligations are met without disrupting operational continuity.

Disposal operations are conducted under comprehensive safety management, including establishing an exclusion zone, vessel coordination, and rigorous pre-task planning. Operations proceed only when all safety criteria are satisfied, and appropriate authorisation is confirmed.

Integration with Investigation & Relocation

Disposal operations integrate seamlessly with our subsea target investigation and SURS relocation capabilities. The Advanced EOD Engineers who conducted target investigation or managed SURS relocation execute the subsequent disposal, ensuring continuity of operational planning and elimination of contractor handover delays.

This integrated approach reduces schedule impact and ensures disposal planning benefits from cumulative knowledge developed through investigation and relocation stages.
